The client’s goal was to have a cohesive photo gallery that conveyed a profound sense of pride, success, and joy. For the portraits, the brief specifically called for a beautiful summer environment as the backdrop. For the graduation party, the objective was to document the lively atmosphere, candid moments, and celebrations with family and friends. A key requirement for the overall visual aesthetic was that the final images needed to be rich in color and radiate a deeply warm and inviting atmosphere.

To harness the best possible lighting for the portraits, we scheduled the session for the early evening in the picturesque Turku region. Utilizing the soft, cinematic light of the approaching golden hour allowed us to capture a flattering and triumphant atmosphere naturally. For the graduation party, I adopted a documentary approach to capture candid interactions, toasts, and the joyous ambiance of the event without disrupting the flow of the celebration. In post-production, the color grading was meticulously unified across both the portraits and the event photos. The vibrant summer hues were enhanced, and a rich, warm tone was applied throughout the gallery to perfectly match the client's exact wishes.
